About Dain-who-is-called-Boo: He was my friend for over two decades, and I loved him with all of my heart. I’ll see you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, little friend. I’ll be waiting for that day with hope. He was a rescue, found while he was still a very small kitten in downtown Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was born deaf, but there was certainly nothing wrong with his sense of smell or vision. He was every bit as capable of enjoying life as the rest of my sweet cats despite his disability. I took him camping, canoeing, andcycling. I brought him to work with me, to school, and even on dates. He made everyone fall in love with him instantly, and my neighbors all knew his name even before they knew mine. He will be terribly missed, but he had a wonderful live...and he made my life wonderful, too.
Tricks Dain-who-is-called-Boo can do: He could paw water out of a glass without tipping it and drink from the sink faucet
Hobbies: finding warm places to sleep, finding me, playing with water, and watching birds
Favorite Toys: plastic straws, anything with catnip, ribbon, feathers, laser-pointer beams
Favorite Snacks: tuna fish, wet food, sausage, cheese, yogurt (except strawberry), liverwurst
