Oh Ruffles its a very complicated procedure that involves slowing down the speed on your camera. Google it for some good results.

Hey doorman, hes asking to stop a frame in a animation not to make a slow motion gif.

Just google it. It’s very hard to find a free version, but there is a free 15 or 30 day trial on the main site. You can just upload the frames from your camera to it and make it into a gif.

Ah I remember making a stop motion movie back in Year 9 with WMM. It works good too.
If you want that then, use Pinnacle Studio.

take the individual photos with a camera or a webcam. MAKE SURE TO SET THE CAMERA TO 1.3 MEGAPIXELS OR LOWER!!! (about 640 x 480), trust me resizing is a bitch. I use ULead GIF Animator, then use the animation wizard and import frames. When you are done, export as AVI and upload to youtube/whatever.

I have made several stop motions in the past
they are extremely fun
but the programs are hard to get free versions of
i was lucky, and my webcam turned out to have a built in stop motion animator program, in which you press a button to take a photo, and move the whatever, then press the button again
at the end it automatically compiles all the photo’s into an .avi file movie.
Google this guy called Knox
he’s some internet geezer who made 18 grand of his movies.
